Finisterre is a sloop rigged sailboat, which means that she has a mast for furling the mainsail and an area at the bow for furing other sails such as a jib, storm jib, or spinaker.  We will use an asemetrical spinaker which can be flown without a spinaker pole to hold it out.  This sail will come in handy with the wind behind us and light air!
