The polka dot tree is the landmark for finding La Fuente, a very good ice cream place in La Paz just across from the beach and Malecon, tile walkway all along the harbor area. Ice Creams are pretty exotic, with the most unusual being "corn" ice cream. They do have great coffee and chocolate flavors, too. Served in all shapes of holders that are tasty, too and you run the risk of eating the holder before the ice cream is done. This is a great place to watch people, too, with whole families coming together, including grandma and little ninos and ninas.
