Sunrise at Agua Verde

The reason I can remember this is Agua Verde is the top of the mast sticking out of the water on the left side of the photo. Also, not a sunset because it appears that the sunrise is over the sea. It is actually over the Sea of Cortes and it's wide enough that it the mainland of Mexico is far enough away to give that illusion. We dove on the wrecked sailboat and we heard the story. It had belonged to a drifter who simply disappeared after it sank. It landed right near a large pinnacle just submerged under the water, so it serves as a good marker for a dangerous spot. Mike was able to scrape away some growth to see the name: Reefer.... maybe the reason for the loss. This spot is very popular and includes three large anchoring areas, a little village where they sell goat cheese and great hiking up into the canyon.
